Welcome to December!!! Nearly in 2014, time has really flown by! Sorry for the absence of news in the last month or two, with a new baby born in the family we have all had our hands full! Daqo New Energy are in the news once again announcing that their Xinjiang plant is going to be increasing its polysilicon capacity to 12 000 metric tonnes a year. Spurred on by the Chinese Vice President, the company will be ‘putting the pedal to the medal’ and increasing its name and reputation in the industry. Australia hits another great milestone reaching 3GW’s of installed capacity. Queensland once again leads the charge with almost a gigwatt of its own installed solar power systems.
