After a year long study, the University of Queensland has completed a study on the perfect angles and orientation of solar panels in Brisbane. They have concluded that 26 degrees facing true north is perfect for us. They placed solar panels and different angles and orientations over three buildings on their St Lucia campus and evaluated the results. They believe that Australia is seriously lacking in research in this area while other countries are soaring ahead. Click here to read the full article.

A study completed by the CSIRO for the Australian PV Association has shown that the majority of Australians support power being produced in the home.
