Enphase energy with an orange

Enphase Energy is a company that is becoming more and more well known in Australia. They specialize in micro-inverters that change AC and DC power at the solar panel level, reducing risks (such as electrical fires from voltage build ups) and increase efficiency.

The company is now expanding its Asia Pacific operations and have appointment a new managing director, Nathan Dunn. Mr Dunn has a wealth of business experience with companies such as GE Lighting Australia, LG Electronics in Australia and New Zealand.

“Today is an important milestone in Enphase’s APAC expansion, and we are pleased to have appointed Nathan Dunn to help realize the growth potential as the market takes a natural turn toward high quality, intelligent solar technology,” stated Jeff Loebbaka, senior vice president, global sales, marketing and support.

Part of Mr Dunn’s job description will be to increase the company’s market share and delve further into the market. Enphase has officially opened its Melbourne Headquarters in Albert Park Lane in March this year.

“We’re entering a period of consolidation within the solar category in Australia and New Zealand, and I’m very much looking forward to working with this talented team to implement some aggressive and innovative go-to-market strategies that will help strengthen our position in this dynamic market,” said Nathan Dunn.

Auckland Museum has just installed an Enphase solar system on their roof top. The almost 189 solar panels, invisible from the road, have been split between the two roofs of the War Memorable Museum.
